Yours Truly
Who am I? You sure you wanna know?

I read this today on someone's facebook note. i feel. i felt. " If I can put a limit to our love, it would be forever". Does he/she mean hurting forever or loving forever? Love is simple yet complicated. Simple in its meaning, complicated when it is given to another. Often, the one being loved enjoys while the one giving him/her his/her love is suffering, without knowledge of the one receiving his/her love. Why? I pondered over this question when I heard a sad love story. It seems likely that he takes her for granted. But it is not his fault! How ironic! If she did not indulged him too much, he would not have took her for granted. But if he was not indulged, he would feel that he is not being loved by her. So love actually is complicated? Love actually... Takes 2 person to understand one another. It can be simple in every sense; 2 person of differring personalities, come together as one will naturally have conflicts of any kind. It is a simple act of 'giving and taking' that reduces the impact of any conflicts. You ask, if one gives in to the other all the time, how then will he/she be happy? This is when both take turn to give in. Only when you find meaning in not winning or dominating all the time, you find she/he is actually.. an enjoyable company for life. Do show him you love him. Tell it to him, he would not know what you want if you do not say. And show her you love her. Love actually... is to compromise with one another. I have my view, you have yours. Who is right? Why bother too much about the rights and wrongs of things. Run this question in your mind. What if I am right? Yes! So what if you are right? You would be rewarded. .. But what reward? A reward that you will never forget. A long period of sad, lost feeling.. or risk losing him/her in the process of being 'right'. Who doesn't want to win? In a relationship, does it matter who wins? To spend my life with her for the rest of my life, is the biggest win. Love actually... is being understanding and to understand your partner. If you understand your partner better, you will find interacting with him/her easier. This is mainly because you know what she wants, what she needs and look forward to. You will find yourself loving her/him more everytime you understand her better. It is a like climbing a ladder. Every time you climb higher, you are closer to your intended destination. For love, the destination is to her heart. Love actually... is to accept your partner for who he/she is. You cannot change a person unless he/she feels the need to. Even if your partner change for you, he/she would be a different person and often time, the change is only temporary. If you cannot accept him/her for who he/she is, why in the first place get together? This brings me back to the point on understanding. Understanding requires knowing him/her as a friend first, looking at his/her character. Take a bit more time. Don't rush into love net. Love is not only feeling for him/her, it is also to see a future with him or her. How bright your future with him/her would be, if you cannot accept his/her character? Love actually... is to tell your partner, I love you every moment. You dream of him/her. You want to be with him/her everytime. Other 'hims/hers' would not break the bond you share with your partner. The bond you share with her, is eternal. Love actually... is to drop your male ego and your play-hard-to-get attitude. If you don't drop the 'e', you cannot 'go' forward. Why let your ego and your female belief stop you? Without those impeding you, your love with him/her would be easier. Where did she go when I need her close to me And the perfect story ended at the start I thought you came forever and you came to break my heart Now I'm hanging on , on the chance that you'll come back to me Last but not the least, She actually.. is your best company, for life.
